UPDATE: In line with Government and Swim England guidance our standard swim sessions are currently suspended until further notice.

We are offering bookable, small group, teacher-led activities. When available, these will be advertised on our new online bookings page, with details on how to book (debit card required).

What is on offer?

Phased Return Activity Information

How will it work?

  • There will be a booking period where a member can make a booking online by debit card (if you dont have a debit card or pre-paid card speak with your carer or care provider, they will have arrangments in place to enable online payments).

  • It will be a maximum of 10 people per activity and you can not change activities once booked.

  • Members will need to agree to a COVID-19 Swim Declaration and review the Health Screening Form.

  • Please note the start time of your bookable activity. You need to be on poolside before the start time of your booked activity.

  • Unless exempt, face masks should be worn at all times, except when in the pool or on poolside.

  • If possible, those swimming should arrive "swim ready", the changng room will only be available for 20mins before your activity starts, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Once you have arrived and put your belongings in one of the designated lockers, you will be directed to your designated area to sit on poolside, untill your alloated time/activity.

  • The Swim Teachers and Swim Assistants will lead the activity from the poolside, where possible, this will be with no direct contact with swimmers.

  • When swimmers return to our activities it is important that training/exercise is gradual, progressive, and for those identified by the NHS as "clinically extreamely vunerable", (or anyone with concerns), we suggest that they do so, following consultation with their medical practitioner.

  • The spectator area is currently closed, only those partaking in the activity should remain in the building, unless prior arrangments have been made.

  • If possible, Members should shower at home.

When is it available?

Bookable Activities are shown on our bookings page when made available.  You may wish to sign up to email updates.

04 - Swim England: User Guide 03 - Swim England: Returning to Swimming 01 - Swim England: COVID Declaration

Due to needing to run smaller group sizes and many of our fundraising activities being canceled due to COVID-19, our entry fees have to reflect this. We hope over time, the restrictions will ease and we will be able to review our pricing structure. All activities and prices are subject to change. Before attending you should read documents 1 - 5 on the right.

Our swim sessions have been split into seperate bookable activites to meet COVID-19 secure rules.  We aim to have:

  • General swimming (60mins)

  • Bookable lane swimming with NASCH/SO training (60mins)

  • Teacher-led small group activites (25mins)

(eg: Aqua-sensory, Rehab & Fitness or Swimming Skills)
