UPDATE: In line with Government and Swim England guidance our standard swim sessions are currently suspended until further notice.
We are offering bookable, small group, teacher-led activities. When available, these will be advertised on our new online bookings page, with details on how to book (debit card required).
Whether you are recovering from a broken ankle, joint replacement or building up your strength in your arms, legs or core, anyone with a short or long term health condition is welcome to join in.
Hydro-Rehab & Fitness is not a Physiotherapy-lead service, but a fitness & exercise based activity run by a qualified Fitness & Aquafit Instructor, combining general swimming and exercise to improve movement and mobility.
Claire Edwards, Hydro-Rehab & Fitness Instructor is qualified and insured in:
- Remedial Bodywork (dealing with muscle injuries whether through injury or trauma);
- STA Swimming Tutor for both children/adults;
- Aquaepps Paediatric Aquatic Therapy;
- Level 2 Gym Instructor; and
- Hydro-Actif Instructor for Shallow Water Exercise.
Putting all these skills and 12 years self-employed experience in Remedial Therapy, Claire will design a tailored rehab and fitness regime to meet your individual needs, which you can put into action with her support during bookable one to one sessions and group classes during SDSG swim sessions.
If you would like further advice, please speak to Claire during a SDSG swim session or by emailing:
