COVID-19 Information

GENERAL COVID SECURE MEASURES WE ARE UNDERTAKING, INCLUDE:

The latest government guidance can be found here and should be adhered to.

Whilst the Government has removed the legal requirement to wear face coverings from January 2022, the government “suggests you continue to wear one in crowded and indoor spaces where you may come into contact with people you do not normally meet".

Inline with Swim England Guidance, online booking will continue to enable us to manage swim numbers in reception, changing room and in the water. Please be aware your booking may be moved/altered/cancelled inline with business need

Activity times will continue to be staggered, so activities will be starting and finishing at different times

We ask that anyone feeling ill or showing signs of any symptoms does not attend the centre and follow NHS guidance

We ask that you arrive no earlier than 20 minutes before your booked activity start time unless agreed in advance

Use the hand sanitiser provided before and after your session/activity

All member communication can be done through this website to avoid interaction, but where this may be unavoidable, the venue have installed protective ‘sneeze screens’

All pool users should respect other users and their space, being mindful that some people may not be as comfortable with the lifting of restrictions as other people

We no longer advise that you arrive swim ready. Changing rooms will be open for those that want to use them.

If a swim session is cancelled due to COVID-19, notification of this will be posted on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/scarboroughdsg) and you will be sent an email from our booking system (TryBooking.com). Please check regularly.
